Social Studies this year has been awesome! We have had many awesome projects that were enjoyable and made us think. One of the projects that we did was the Ancient Americas Project. In this project we had to pick an ancient civilization. I chose to do the Inca Empire because I didn’t know much about it and wanted to learn more, because it seemed very interesting since it was the biggest empire.

     The assignment was to imagine what it would be like if the spanish had never conquered the Inca civilization in the first place, we also had to write about what it is really like today where the Incas used to thrive. We got to choose how we wanted to present it, so I chose to use Prezi as my way of presenting. I wanted to use Prezi because it is a very simple but complex way to present your ideas. I also used voice over in the video so I was able to explain further about the subject.
